The contemporary farmhouse channels inspiration from modern European architecture, yet blends beautifully into the landscape. This getaway is perfect friends, family or couples to escape the bustle of city living to reconnect and recharge.
Glut Farm is a working lifestyle farm, with 100-150 ethical raised White Australian x Dorper sheep, and plenty of thriving vegetable gardens and a mini orchid. A vineyard sits beautifully in front of the farmhouse paddock, with cuttings from the original Yalumba Grenache vineyard planted way back in 1889.
The accomodation offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and stunning views of Mt Cole and Mt Lonarch to help you feel clear and refreshed as you buckle down to work. Relax after a busy day on the large entertaining deck and lawn, with a wood fire oven and magic mountain views. Or sit around the outdoor fire pit toasting marshmallows and enjoying a glass of wine.
Keep an eye out for the local kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, kookaburras and chickens, or venture further and hike or bike one of the many signed trails that Mt Cole state forest offers and discover waterfalls, native wildlife and flora. On your day off, visit one of our many local wineries for a tasting or lunch. The stunning Mt Langi Ghiran winery and The Blue Pyrenees winery are both only 30 minutes from Glut Farm.
