Glamping at its best!
Award winning Redwing Farm is situated on the beautiful Yorke Peninsula, just ten minutes from The Copper Coast. Redwing Farm was bought by Farmer Damien's family in 1998, and at this time the homestead and yard area were in a state of disrepair, until extensive renovations began in 2006. Soon the homestead and gardens sprang into life, making it the perfect location for a quiet break, or as a base for experiencing all the region has to offer.
After a few years of hard work, Redwing Farm now has three luxury accommodation offerings, from self-contained buildings to glamping at its best: Redwing Shearers Quarters, Redwing Barn and Little Patty.
Little Patty is a 1950’s caravan. With king and double beds, fridge, microwave, tv and heating/cooling inside, plus her own firepit, bathroom and BBQ area outside, Little Patty is glamping at it’s best!
While still maintaining her character, she has been fully renovated. Her little kitchen is stocked with cooking staples, and all linen is provided. She is undercover with the hay shed as her personal annex, with dinning table and kitchen space and an adjacent lawn. She also has her very own fire pit and a trolley for you to collect wood from the communal wood area, plus an outside toilet and shower area.
Little Patty sits right next to our pet cow paddock, meaning a stay in Little Patty is as close as you’ll get to having a sleep over with Godfrey the Giant Steer. In fact, he may be peering in your window as you eat your breakfast!
You can spend your time at Redwing strolling the farm, playing the giant outdoor games, riding the bikes, roasting marshmallows over your own outdoor fire pit, and of course, feeding and patting the animals! Redwing Farm not only gives people the opportunity to see what country living is all about, but importantly gives people a chance to disconnect to reconnect. It’s the simple things that matter!
