Raffah House is a centrally based, three bedroom historic home and garden, lovingly converted into accommodation for family and groups to enjoy whilst travelling across this beautiful little island we call Tasmania.

The accommodation is situated centrally in the historical sandstone village of Oatlands, Tasmania. Among many things Raffah was a bustling maternity hospital in the early 1900s. Now standing as a beautiful, sympathetically restored heritage home which is a place to seek comfort and relaxation in a stylish yet understated atmosphere.

Raffah House is a circa 1840s sandstone heritage three bedroom home that has been completely restored and modernised. The house can accommodate six people in three spacious bedrooms. Two of the rooms comprise luxurious queen beds and the third is a king bedroom which can be split in to two singles.

Enjoy complimentary G&T’s on arrival, cloud soft french flax linen, warm sandstone and a spacious backyard with a stunning European-inspired garden, expansive outdoor entertaining area and seasonal vegetable garden ready for guests to forage for their next meal. An expansive 10 seater dining table is nestled in amongst the interior sandstone walls in the spacious and light filled dining area. A very comfortable three seater stone bench top in the kitchen is a fantastic additional work space.

Complimentary high speed Wifi throughout the house will help you buckle down to work, before heading off to The Imbibers to enjoy a local grazing platter and drink.  An hour from both Hobart and Launceston, Raffah House is a centrally situated home to make base for business or pleasure. Go for a drive up in to the central highlands to see all of the lakes or head an hour up the road to MONA for a day full of art and yummy food.
