Johansen Wines is a family owned and run vineyard located at 790 meters above sea level and only five minutes from Tumbarumba. They have around 25 hectares of grapes shared over two vineyards, "Mountain View" and "Glenburnie", with their varieties including chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, riesling, pinot gris, gamay, pinot noir and merlot.
Glenburnie is located in the beautiful hills. Escape from the hustle and bustle, and immerse yourself in cool climate wine country.
The cottage is set amongst farmland and vineyards and right next to the Johansen Wines cellar door. Fynn the dog will be delighted to meet you when you arrive. Boasting a new kitchen, wood heater, a large fenced yard with bonfire, not to mention the stunning views! A perfect place for a couples retreat, a trip with friends or a family holiday.
When it’s time to buckle down to work, Glenburnie ha reliable NBN wireless broadband available throughout the cottage and Telstra 4G reception. With a cup of Nest Cinema Cafe coffee on hand, and your furry best friend by your side, its the ultimate work space.
On your day off, walk the Hume and Hovel trail, or take a bicycle around the area. Tumbarumba is known for its green rolling hills, crystal clear streams and vast forests, all of which are just a short drive or walk away. You’ll leave your getaway feeling relaxed, refreshed and stocked up on wine!
