Spend your mornings walking barefoot through the grass to the jetty through misty paddocks then enjoy some quiet work before watching the sun go down over twilight drinks by the open fire.
Farmhouse on Oxley is a beautiful large home overlooking the river. Perfect for peace and quiet without interruptions, with large areas to work from and consistently great internet.
Oxley Island is tucked secretly away north of Sydney by Taree. There are stunning secluded beaches and cafes nearby – yet somehow people haven’t really discovered its magic (yet).
Owner Sherinah has lovingly and meticulously brought Farmhouse on Oxley to life in a comfortable, warm, relaxing setting – complete with fireplace, private jetty, games room and even paddocks for your horses!
Sherinah’s local go-to for coffee and a bite to each is nearby Buyi Espresso Bar (grab yourself a toastie). The best walk nearby is either one of the many quiet beaches or Saltwater lookout, but you’ll find just as good right from the back door. Not that we think you’ll ever tire of the Farmhouse or the walks, but if you do, there are canoes, a tinny and fishing gear available!
While there’s a bunch of great, lofty spaces to work in with spotted gum floors, exposed beams and reclaimed vintage furniture (including a super cute classroom desk), it’s the stunning roller barn doors that are going to feature on your Insta.
Seriously though, how have we never visited here? Best book quickly before word gets out.
