Our Story

The University of Sydney found Australians want to work from home more post-COVID and The Financial Review said remote working is here to stay.

Workplaces are becoming increasingly flexible to the idea of regular days away from the office. Aussies love to travel so this gives us the perfect opportunity to work from somewhere wonderful while experiencing the local region.

Our job is to promote beautiful places to work and stay so you can enjoy Australia in a new way.

About the Founders

Dave and Bec are from Western Australia and now live in Sydney. In 2020, when the world’s borders firmly shut everyone was ordered to work from home. What was a once a convenient inner-city apartment for these two started feeling like a missed opportunity.

They travelled to Tinkersfield in the Snowy Mountains with the plan to work remotely for a short while (check Tinkersfield out on Work From Here).

Dave has worked around the tourism industry for a long while and is a judge in the tourism awards. When the industry was decimated by border closures, Dave & Bec wanted to spur Australians to travel our great country with a different purpose, to live and work as a local.
